LineItUp helps groups of friends — anywhere from 2 buddies to a 20-person bachelor party — plan rounds, trips, and the whole weekend together.
What we do
We're the planning layer between "we should play soon" and an actual tee time on the books. Sync calendars to find shared free time, discover top-rated courses (locally or in any city), build a multi-day itinerary with hotels and dinners, split the cost, and lock in the booking — all without a 14-message group text.
Why we built it
Coordinating golf with friends is harder than it should be. Tee-time apps assume you already have a foursome locked in. Group chats devolve into "what about next Saturday?" indefinitely. Trip planning means juggling five tabs and a spreadsheet. We wanted one place to round up the crew, find when everyone's free, and just go play.
Where we're starting
We're launching in Phoenix and Scottsdale, where the density of bucket-list courses (TPC Scottsdale, Grayhawk, Troon North, Boulders) and year-round playable weather makes it a natural hub for both local crews and destination golfers. From there we'll expand to other golf-heavy regions — Palm Springs, Orlando, Charleston, the Carolinas, then internationally.
What's next
Native iOS and Android apps are in active build (the web app is a PWA today; you can already install it to your home screen). We're also building out our business side, where courses, hotels, restaurants, and activity venues can be featured to groups planning a trip to their city.
How we make money
Golfers use LineItUp free, forever. We earn a small commission from booking partners (hotels via Booking.com, activities via Viator, tee-times via Travelpayouts and other affiliates) when you book through us — you never pay a markup. Long-term, course/hotel/venue partners pay for featured placement to reach golfers actively planning trips to their city.
